Action Groups & Public Meeting
@ City Park, April 17th, 4pm in the Lower Lodge.

Shasta Commons will be holding our 3rd public meeting on Earthday, April 17th, 4-6pm at the City Park Rod and Gun building (Lower Lodge) where we will be continuing the process of forming action groups based around local sustainability. Some of those groups are:

• Community Supported Agriculture
• Garden Share
• Neighborhood Fruit Harvest
• Food Storage/ Seed Saving
• Food Processing and Distribution
• Local Food Policy
• Local Currency
• Alternative Energy

Of course, groups will have overlap of content and interest and the idea is to share information and resources with each other on a periodic basis and through the ShastaCommons.org website. Please come to see how you can participate. We will also be presenting the many new features of our website and the recommended consensus model we're using to make decisions. Hope to see you there!
